We at Shabari seva samiti are committed to the emancipation of poor, neglected, and disadvantaged people of vanavasi areas of Maharashtra from the shackles of hunger, poverty, ignorance, and social taboos; by helping them to become educated and self reliant and to enable them to live a dignified life is our mission.
Our Goals
- • Complete eradication of the problem of malnutrition of children and improving health of pregnant women of vanvasi areas of Maharashtra.
- • Provide innovative solutions to other socioeconomic problems such as hunger, illiteracy, poverty and unemployment or underemployment.
- • Eradication of blind faiths and various social taboos deep rooted in vanavasi areas.
- • Empowerment of vanavasi women to make them contributors to the development of their communities.
- • To end the isolation of vanavasis from main stream society and to help them to live dignified and self reliant life with equanimity.
